Hello Sailor and Minicon

The snow has finally melted and I have spent a bunch of time painting up some Napoleonics that had been in the painting pile for a long, long time. Firstly we have some Perry plastic French Napoleonics then there is a selection of sailors and marines from Wargames Foundry, Brigade Games and Steve Barber.

The derelict cottage was a resin purchase from eBay a few years ago and is still a work in progress, lurking near the back are some Front Rank dead horses.

Below are the rest of the naval figures along with a couple of ships guns. Hopefully these will all be finished in the next few weeks.

Last weekend was Minicon, a small friendly show in its second year, this year moved from Gloucester to the STAR college outside Cheltenham. Lots of input from local clubs such as Cheltenham Wargames Association, Redditch Wargames Society and our own Wyvern Wargamers let to plenty of games to join in.

I finally got to play Infinity, another low figure count game which may see further play as the year goes on. Here's the moment just after my sniper shot Luke's figure off the opposite building. Blame Dave, he made me do it.
